I have always been fascinated by everything that can me go faster or help me other go faster. I self have raced RS250's and the last year a SV650, both in the dutch championship. I'm now expat in Singapore and missing racing for another year. I should be back at the end of this year and plan to upgrade my SV to go round the big boys with R1's and so...
I think I have a quite good basic knowledge of suspension set up but some guys made me relativate all this . Anyway it only motivated to learn even more and get my hands dirty with some real job.
The plan is to put some GSXR forks into my SV and try to set up the all thing as a factory bike . The dream is even to get a datalogger (other passion of me) and track the changes with real data. sound good not?
anyway, Hope I'm welcome between you guys. And get ready for some silly question.

PS: by the way, I'm french, lived the last ten years in Holland and speak dutch. It may be useful as lots of good susp guys are living there.
Soyez le bienvenu Les fourches GSXR sont super sur la SV, vous aurez un moto bien fort. Les resorts sont assez corrects (8.5N/mm), ou bien ceux de la 2004 R1 sont adaptable a 9.0. Un peu d'effort sur les shims (?? en francais) vous donnerez un reponse plus adapte' a la course, ils sont un peu molle depuis l'usine... Ciao, Graham

Je vais chercher sur le forum pour de l' info concernant les clapets (shims) mais c'est quelque chose que je n'ais jamais fait. Mais j'ai jusqu'a l'année prochaine donc enough time!
