Intro from MA

Hello all, Making my introduction after finding this forum.  I'm an experienced rider, former racer, MSF Coach, yada yada.  I've been very involved with suspension upgrades for 10+ years, ridden and raced on single-rate, dual rate, progressive rate springs, crappy shocks, good shocks etc.  I'm not versed in shim selection and building, but I do know when a front end feels right, when a rear end hooks up, or doesn't.  I currently have an '01 VFR 800 with a CBR600F4i front end, with Hyperpro springs F&R, and an '07 Tuono, also with Hyperpro F&R.  I'm a strong believer (after miles and years of experience) that street bikes  should be on (correct) progressive rate springs. I do not work for, nor have any financial or other vested interest in Hyperpro, but will attest to their products working quite well for ... spirited street riding.

Looking forward to talking with people about designing experiments to measure force loads on front forks and other stuff.

Mav

Welcome maven! The VFR800's are one of the bikes I specialize in, maybe we can swap stories sometime!
