Hi Everyone, My name is Stephen Scharf; I was pointed here by a friend. I have 20 years of riding experience, including 5 years racing with the AFM, and many track days under my belt. I've been fiddling with and studying suspension on my bikes for the last 18 years. I'm a scientist by profession, so I have something of a technical background that I can read and understand the technical literature in this domain reasonably well.
I have a 2001 CBR600F4i has had major suspension work and now handles really, really nicely. I just purchased a 1999 VFR 800 that I am about to do some work on as it's stock suspension has 15,000+ on it and needs reworking, so I am hoping to get it to handle as well as my F4i.
I also just purchased a 2007 CBR600RR for canyon riding and track days that I will be wanting to get set up as well.
